HSBC Amanah Takaful (INMY) leverages the HSBC Group's international experience and expertise in Islamic finance to offer a wide range of innovative and accessible Family Solidarity and General Takaful products to both consumers and corporate customers throughout Malaysia.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Amanah Takaful team in the role of Assistant Manager Actuarial Financial Reporting, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Principal responsibilities

  • To assist the overall financial reporting function, especially in family business
  • Accurate Statutory Reserve and PVIF - optimises profitability and relationship with regulator, RO and IHO
  • Accurate Capital Requirements for Family Takaful - optimises capital efficiency and return on equity
  • Implementation of all regulatory (e.g. GPV/RBC) requirements

  • Degree Holder in Actuarial Science
  • Requires sound actuarial knowledge as well as experiences in order to ensure the accuracy of financial reports delivery
  • Required relevant working experience in Family Takaful
  • Good communicaation skills and analytical skills are needed
  • Possess good personality and behaviors are critical to this role
  • Ability to work within the team and others
  • Ability to analyse and communicate the Financial reporting results to non-technical audience
  • Good judgment and decision making skill - able to make or provide recommendation for business - aligned and timely decision
