Associate Manager Business Banking - Central

Principal Responsibilities

  • To conduct foreign exchange booking under EVOLVELITE platform for BB customers via telephone.
  • To conduct proactive calling to increase customer engagement thereby improve customer relationship and to alert customers during volatile markets
  • To provide database administration and MI reporting for EVOLVELITE performance in BB
  • To bridge GM and clients for forward contract booking, when necessary
  • To comply with the internal requirements on FX business conduct which is aligned to GM
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team
  • Focus on the end user at all times: HSBC customers (internal or external)
  • Own and resolve issues with all stakeholders or customers and escalate where appropriate
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets


  • Knowledge of the Commercial Banking market
  • Knowledge of CMB's international proposition / product capabilities
  • Proven experience of working effectively with, and a detailed knowledge of the bank's IT systems, including RBPM,Excel,Powerpoint,Word,Browser Main Menu,Global Links, Group Intranet etc.
  • Ability, with a record of accomplishment in:
  • Commercial Banking
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis upon communication (verbal and written)
  • Good planning and organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Adaptable and flexible with a willingness to change to meet changing demands and opportunity
  • Positive and proactive 'can do' attitude
  • Self-control and ability to perform under pressure
