Looking for a motivated and organized technology manager with substantial financial domain expertise and exposure to compliance and regulatory matter.

Job Summary

This is a lead technical role in the Malaysia country Technology organization, responsible for the delivery and day to day management of Consumer technology portfolio supporting Consumer Banking business.
The candidate is expected to manage a team in Malaysia , directly reporting to this position and also expected to work closely with the other team in organization placed in other physical location to get the delivery done.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
  • This role will fall into Consumer Technology organization. This role will be reporting locally to Operation and technology head and regionally to Consumer Technology Head for ASEAN.
  • Manage the delivery of high quality service & support for Production Application Support for the application hosted in Malaysia.
  • Compliance to regulatory mandate and manage day to day compliance matters in Technology domain
  • Act as an Interface with Consumer business and Operation team in Malaysia and act as the face of Malaysia technology to the Global Consumer technology organization
  • Day-to-Day Operations and Support management, liaising with Development, release, demand management and Production Application Support teams at multiple levels.
  • End-to-end operational focus - project delivery, release management,  Operational Costs , Productivity, Utilization of resources, Drive continuous service improvement within the team.
  • Stakeholder management, negotiate, escalate and manage Business aligned Stream leads and other senior stakeholders at all levels.
  • Drive demand reduction and cost optimization initiatives to ensure that the service delivery is optimized without impacting the quality of service.
  • Conduct & drive internal service improvement reviews. Driving automation, process streamlining & re-engineering.


Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate should have the following:
  • Degree with Computer Science or related technology discipline
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A minimum of 10 years Support or Development experience in relevant IT business domain. Preference will be given to candidate with exposure to banking domain and exposure to implementation of digital projects.
  • Experience in dealing with Senior technology and business Stakeholders
  • Experience of managing a relationship with remote team and managing internal teams
  • Influential skill
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering a quality operational service to customers
  • Operating in a Global team environment
  • Project Management/IT Transformation experience will be preferred
