Description

  • To ensure training and certification of new hires including recertification, licensing for investment and insurance following internal and external requirements consisting of in country, regional and regulatory requirements including roll out of mandatory trainings in accordance to the Role Based Curriculum for respective roles
  • To ensure tracking of completion, passing of assessments, due attendance of training
  • To work with region / country by providing the required matrix and reporting, executing regional / country initiatives
  • To work with partners in ensuring training decks (under Empowered By Citi training within the Role Based Curriculum) are updated accordingly and consolidated for training delivery to new hires or refreshers for existing hires
  • To work with partners and ensure training delivery and certification for staff when new products are launched for GCB (where applicable)
  • To adhere to Learning Operating Processes (LOPs) and ensure LOPs are updated and in place for key areas
  • To support ongoing MCA testing and audit requirement / deliverables
  • To understand business needs on upskilling of staff and work towards advising, consulting and designing (if required) including deployment
  • To conduct ongoing engagement and dialog with businesses and region to ensure alignment and effectiveness of training
  • To ensure trainers (via coaching and advisement), either business trainers within BTO or ad hoc faculty within the businesses are duly certified and trained to conduct required training leading to a robust, effective and skilled faculty
  • To effectively leverage on the use of trainers to capitalize on this resource and expertise to cross-train across all business issues
  • To work with the Customer Franchise Head on aligning with Decision Management, Country Marketing and CEQ to leverage on building a Remarkable Customer Experience for GCB
  • To partner with HR Learning & Organizational Development on GCB training needs e.g. regional leadership programs


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a reputable university
  • Minimum 10 years related experience in a medium to large matrix organization (financial industry preferred), including at least 5 years consulting on Learning and Development to multinational companies and top tier local companies
  • Sound knowledge of certification and licensing requirements for selling of insurance and investment products
  • Is a highly experienced facilitator and thrives in operational excellence
  • Ability to advise, consult and influence individuals from senior to operational levels and of diverse backgrounds on licensing / certification and learning & development matters whilst connecting this to business needs
  • Well versed and keeps abreast of learning and development methodologies, thorough understanding of learning psyche including change, leadership and management concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - ability to speak in a clear and articulate manner, present effective presentations from senior to operational levels, reason logically and produce effective and clear written material
  • A positive and flexible team player ability to work in close collaboration with partners across the franchise including build strong professional relationships
  • Possesses strong leadership stamina - Lead, motivate, coach, develop, direct  staff within the learning and development space and manage operational team on co-ordination and organization of training schedules, resources etc
  • Is self-driven and results oriented with strong adaptability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Is detail oriented individual who demonstrates high level of accuracy with a deep appreciation for systems and processes
  • Skilled in problem solving and consulting, good planning, organization, and time management skills and strong learning ability

  • Possesses Creative Management - design learning initiatives and interventions based on needs as well as develop learning materials
