The Role Responsibilities


Strategy
  • Manage and deliver projects with strong focus on efficiency.
  • Implement new technologies into the workplace to create automated and efficient processes.
  • Accountable and responsible for managing, planning and day to day running of the project.
Business
  • Develop project documentation including scope of work, budget, timelines and acceptance criteria
  • Deliver solutions within specified timelines and budget including timely delivery with minimal disruption to business operations
  • Provide business plan to support future opportunities
  • Manage both dependencies and the interfaces with other related Technology Services activities and other T&I initiatives.
  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the group operates.
  • Forge deep relationships with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and where applicable factor into the strategic roadmap.
  • Ensure that all management information is produced in line with the defined schedule and quality and should support management decision and action.
Processes
  • Develop project documentation including scope of work, budget, timelines and acceptance criteria
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Evaluate complex readiness and supportability by identifying and resolving problems, risks and issues, coordinate and plan future requirements.
People and Talent
  • Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards
Risk Management
  • Responsible for effective governance of the program, reporting back monthly to the Management Team via the established forums
Regulatory & Business conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Effectively manage the key stakeholders within Technology Services; vertical and horizontal domain owners
  • Effectively manage the key stakeholders within T&I

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Must have previous experience of leading multiple IT related projects or programmes
  • Very strong all-round understanding of technology infrastructure to drive solutioning and target design
  • Banking or similar experience at a Large Corporate preferred
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking and data analysis
  • Must have P roject Management experience, with ability to initiate and execute a large Project from E2E dealing with disparate functions
  • Good knowledge of structured project management methodologies
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a good balance between detailed and strategic activities
  • Self-starter/ motivated/ deals effectively with ambiguity.
  • Must have credibility with senior stakeholders and across the project
  • Possess negotiation, communication, facilitation, efficient decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Able to demonstrate awareness of business and organisational sensitivities and reflect this in approaches to communicating change
  • Understanding of Bank's Technology environment (Optional)
  • Proficient in excel, power point
  • PMP Certified (mandatory)
  • ITIL Certified
