Trade Finance Officer

Job Roles & Responsibilities:
• To perform day-to-day operational tasks of trade finance transactional processing;
• To perform relief function within the department as and when the need arises;
• To deliver services in line with agreed service standards documented between the Branches and Trade Finance Processing Centre;
• To liaise with customers on their trade requirements and maintain good rapport with them at all times;
• To ensure compliance with guidelines and policies as documented in the Bank's Manuals as well as external rules and regulations governing trade finance operations;
• To maintain good relations with fellow colleagues with emphasis on teamwork and fair dealing;
• To provide technical support to Business Units RM & Trade marketing staff;

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
• Fresh graduates with CGPA of 3.0 and above or bank officers with 5 years of experience in trade finance operations;
• Able to take up additional responsibilities and accept changes;
• Able to identify customers' needs and make changes to meet their requirements;
• Well verse with rules and regulations covering international trade finance e.g. UCP 500, URC 522 and URR 525;
• Understand internal/external guidelines and policies covering trade operations;
• Able to demonstrate good teamwork amongst staff;
• Able to work beyond normal banking hours to complete daily transactions/volume;
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to read and speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
