Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, support, and optimize enterprise VDI environments built on Omnissa Horizon (VMware Horizon).
• Manage and support VMware ESXi and vCenter infrastructure supporting virtual desktop services.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for VDI, endpoint, and endpoint security incidents.
• Provide L3/L4 technical support and serve as an escalation point for complex production issues.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle activities including device provisioning, software deployment, patching, configuration management, and compliance enforcement.
• Administer Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) environments.
• Manage and support endpoint security platforms including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trellix Endpoint Security.
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and capacity to ensure service reliability.
• Support platform upgrades, migration activities, patching exercises, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Perform service recovery activities and support critical production incidents to ensure timely restoration of services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge bases.
• Participate in after-hours support, weekend maintenance activities, and major incident response when required.

Mandatory Requirements

• 7+ years of End User Computing (EUC), VDI, or Endpoint Infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years supporting enterprise VDI environments.
• Strong hands-on administration experience with:
  • Omnissa Horizon / VMware Horizon
  • VMware ESXi
  • VMware vCenter
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience in enterprise VDI environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale virtual desktop infrastructure platforms.
• Experience handling L2/L3 incident management and production support activities.
• Experience with platform maintenance, upgrades, patching, and service recovery operations.
• Strong understanding of endpoint management, endpoint security, and device lifecycle management.
