2. REPORTING
RELATIONSHIPS

JOB TITLE Head, CB Business Finance
FOR Matters pertaining to Accounting and Finance issues including:-
¨ PS Financial Accounting and Management Accounting for Bank consolidation
¨ Contra Revenue file/journals and Budgetary reports for Bank consolidation
¨ Compile all financial data/reports in template/format designed by Business Finance/Country finance/group
¨ Adhere all reporting deadline as per requested included M+0, IFRS Pack/ Mid-Month Flash
¨ Comply with GST reports preparation and submissions.
3. REPORTS DIRECT TO


General Manager / Director
¨ Assists to monitor and manage the cost to ensure not over-spend
¨ Analysis the financial data and close whatever gap and highlight for any significant financial impact/risk
¨ Cost saving approach to assists achieve the company goals
¨ Assist to ensure the company adhere to the group requirement in term of financial reports
¨ Assists to ensure the company comply with the relevant local regulatory requirement in term of GST/audit/tax/company secretary related matters
¨ Assists liaises with internal/external parties for various financial/operations issues
¨ Assists finance and operation department run in smooth without backlog, resolve any problem arising and hands on to assists and coach the department staff

4. JOB PURPOSE


· Able to provide professional advise/guidance to lead finance & operation department to ensure comply with standard group guidance/local authority regulatory requirement
· Responsible overall functions of accounts/operations/budgetary control/group consolidation/planning and gap analysis of financial data
· Assist company for the cash flow management
· Assist company for the dividend remitted to group
· Assist to handle GST report/submissions for payment
· Support establish the financial information/computation based on business requirement
· Liaises with various parties for whatever queries/reports requirement from local regulatory/Bank/group/bankers/auditors/tax agent
· Problem solving skill to handle various issues arising from the department



5. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




































Supervise finance & operations department
· Supervise and provide necessary advise to ensure the full set of accounts being prepare in accordance with the relevant statutory authority accounting standard/policy on timely manner
· To ensure the completion of bank/group reports on timely basis
· Gap analysis for actual vs budget/forecast/FC
· Involve to resolve the operation matter if any problem arising

Budgeting, financial projection, financial reporting & GST
· Liaise with respective team to establish the cost, HC and sales target for PS
· Prepare manually for PS budget for accounting and management accounting (includes preparing budget for Total PS, budgets by products etc)
· Prepare the gap analysis to monitor PS budget cost against actual spending to ensure not over-spend
· Approve and check the financial projection for Bank/group submissions
· Approve and check the journal entries for PS before posting
· Approve and check the journal entries for SCB posting - contra revenue
· Analysis the financial results and conducting Balance Sheet periodical review and checking
· Approve for the PO for finance & operations department; counter approve the PO from business unit
· Prepare and present the financial results for management meeting or other ac-hoc
· Check for the GST reports and prepare the GST submission of returns and payment to adhere deadline.

Tax, Auditing & others
· Liaises with the tax agent and internal/external auditors regarding the tax and audit planning/matters
· Co-ordinate with company secretarial related matters (e.g. change authorised signatures/apply S2B token etc)
· Liaises with various parties for S financial/operations queries
· Attend ad hoc/other queries from different parties/department

Operations matters
· Responsible for operations related matter included any ad hoc requirement
· Coordinates and ensure timely completion of office renovation project
· Work closely with Property to ensure premises maintenance functions being organized well
· Work closely with country H&S for PS H&S related matters
· Work closely with country BCP team for PS BCP team related matters

COMPLIANCE

· Ensure Compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to:
· Bank's Group Policy & Standards
· Local Laws and Regulations
· Bank's Code of Conduct
· Customer Data Confidentiality
· Money Laundering
· Customer Due Diligence

· Ensure compliance with the Group's standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to Money Laundering and KYC
· Participate in and/or support the Bank's effort in money-laundering activities
· Exercise due care and diligence on matters related to Money and KYC in the day to day operations, which include account opening and reviews, transaction monitoring, reporting suspicions, customer communication, implementing new requirements, updating and revising operating procedures, acquire relevant knowledge and training, provide support to superior and subordinates
· Exercise due care and diligence in ensuring all anti-money laundering and KYC requirements are complied with. Upgrade knowledge and skills through e-training or other means to ensure effective discharge of duties


6. CONTRIBUTES TO

· Resolve the problem arising for finance & operation team to ensure a smoothly running for the finance & operation department
· To ensure all the related financial reports prepared on time and able to meet the deadline (e.g. month end closing/GST/monthly forecast/IFRS Pack/Director declaration form etc)
· Ensure compliance to the group standard accounting policy/local statutory accounting requirement
· Manage company funds and cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for large payment e.g. dividends and quarterly commissions payout/deferment payout
· Manage the company operations functions with a team members
