Job Summary



The Client Relationship Manager & Captive Solutions Manager Benelux is an essential part of our Major Accounts team and key for providing our large and complex clients excellent service. The role covers Client Relationship management for the Netherlands and Captive Solutions Manager for the Benelux region.

1. Client relationship Management (NL) - Proactive engagement with and knowledge transfer to brokers and clients focused on Chubb's products & services associated within the upper Middle Market and Major Accounts segment (complex accounts).


2. Captive Fronting Solutions Management (Benelux) - Manage existing captive clients in the Benelux region and provide expertise to the local teams on captive fronting programs and promote Chubb's captive fronting propositions with external stakeholders (clients, captive managers, risk managers and brokers) to grow the business. The role will report directly into the Head of Major Accounts in the Netherlands and has a dotted line to the Multinational Segment Leader Continental Europe based in Paris. This role will have strong stakeholder alignment with the Operations department and Underwriting Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all (captive) program and services are well-communicated and coordinated among all parties, including underwriting, S&D, brokers, clients, legal, service teams, and claims;


• Drive the captive renewal underwriting process by providing expertise and ensuring Chubb delivers on its promises to the end client in a smooth and well, co-ordinated manner;


• Structurally engage with target broker population and clients (e.g. through individual or collective master class initiatives, periodic meetings);


• Work with Marketing & Communication department on Captive Proposition and Products; • Ensure the operational effectiveness of captive programmes and ensure Chubb delivers on excellent customer experience;


• Maintain the CRM data base with relevant updates and information;


• Build and maintain a target list of captive fronting opportunities in close cooperation with Countries' Sales, Major Accounts, and Lines managers;


• Support the Head of Major Accounts in organising events such as Risk Forum and Client Advisory Board;


• Attract new Captive Clients;


• Review progress and embed continuous improvement framework through engagement with internal stakeholders;


• Client executive for a select group of clients, also non captive, being the first contact for them at Chubb, regular visits, organize Stewardship Meetings etc.;


• Support the renewal process of Benelux captive accounts, anticipating changes in the fronting structure, updates of collateral requirements, taking part of discussions with clients and brokers etc.;


• Continuously assist local teams to respond to captive related enquiries/requests received by our clients;


• Monitor and enforce adherence by Major Accounts Underwriters to agreed standardized workflows for all Multinational placements and renewals;


• Reinforce agreed workflows through structured check-ins, team briefings, and one-to-one coaching with underwriters where required.

Qualifications




The ideal candidate

• Extensive experience in the Dutch Commercial Insurance market, understanding underwriting principles, risk management concepts, captives and multinational complex placements;


• Strong business acumen with a results-driven approach and a proven track record of meeting targets and driving revenue growth;


• Tech-savvy with the ability to understand the value technology brings to build a successful business in this segment;


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build robust relationships both internally and externally;


• A customer-focused mindset;


• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop innovative solutions for business growth;


• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams;


• Fluency in Dutch and English is essential; French is a very welcome plus;


• Deep understanding of Multinational program structures and captive management (captive fronting structures and reinsurance);


• Knowledge of Major (Large and Complex) Accounts and Upper Middle Market insurance product lines;


• Experience with process design, monitoring, and enforcement;


• Is an expert in data tracking, reporting, and the ability to translate adherence metrics into meaningful management information.
