Responsibilities

• Own and execute a proactive global media relations and PR strategy
• Cultivate and expand relationships with international financial journalists and editors
• Advise ExCo and senior leaders on media engagement; act as corporate spokesperson when required
• Craft narratives, speeches, Q&As, key messages and bylines
• Identify emerging themes (e.g. AI, ESG market evolution, regulation) and drive thought leadership
• Partner with product specialists, investment writers and portfolio managers to shape strategic messaging
• Manage issues and crises with Legal and Compliance, maintaining holding statements and playbooks
• Plan and align internal and external communications to deliver consistent narratives
• Raise the profile of senior leaders through targeted media opportunities and platforms

Requirements

• Previous experience in external communications/media relations in asset management
• Established, active network of relevant journalists and market contacts
