Consultant/Manager Supply Chain and Operations - Resources Industry Group (Amsterdam)


You are a supply chain consultant and want to contribute to developments and innovations in a rapidly changing market?

As supply chain consultant/manager, you are involved in large-scale Supply Chain projects that hit the core of our customers' operations. You will be working with leading Chemicals and Natural Resources customers in the Netherlands and possibly abroad. Together with your team, you analyze and improve our client's Supply Chain. You develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, purchasing, manufacturing and development processes within organizations. You optimize existing processes and relationships with suppliers and customers across the entire production chain. These issues are addressed as Supplier and Client Relationship Management, Supply and Demand Planning and Manufacturing Resource Planning. You are able to communicate well with your customer relations, both at C level and at operational level. You are analytical and show a constant curiosity to understand our client's world and help improve it.

As a Consultant Supply Chain at Accenture, you can help your clients to perform optimally in these complex conditions. Our work supports customers to strengthen their core and pivot to the new. Think of supporting customers to develop new business models and optimize their production processes and value chain, but also about the implementation of Smart Grids for the transportation of electricity and gas, digital technologies to optimize their supply chain processes, improving asset management processes by, for example, using predictive methods and optimizing trading Processes in the North West European energy markets.

As supply chain consultant you will be working at Accenture's Resources practice. As the name suggests our group helps major chemical, electricity, oil and gas companies to succeed in the complex and changing landscape in which they operate.The Resources Practice is divided into the groups Energy, Utilities and Chemicals & Natural Resources.

Within our Resources Practice, professionals collaborate globally and share knowledge and tools in an active network and in specific communities or practices. Our Resources professionals also work closely with the professionals in our Strategy, Digital, Technology and Operations groups.

Basic qualifications
Qualifications Consultant

  • Completed Master's degree program;
  • 3-5 years of supply chain experience;
  • Consulting experience;
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • In possession of driving license B.

Qualifications Manager
  • Completed Master's degree program;
  • 5-8 years of supply chain experience;
  • Experience in sales, proposal development;
  • Experience within an international environment is a pre;
  • Experience leading small teams;
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • In possession of driving license B.
