Vacancy: Finance Group Treasury, Global Business Advice

Finance Group Treasury (GT) supports GT Management in optimizing ING's balance sheet through:

  • Management information, analysis & advice and business control activities
  • Driving the implementation of innovative, forward looking balance sheet steering information
  • Targeting global standardisation and streamlining of relevant processes, tools and systems
We, at Global Business Advice, are looking for an ambitious, curious and driven team player.
We report directly to the CFO of GT & Corporate Line and our main ambitions are:
(1) To be an independent business analysis & advice function for the GT Management Team;
(2) To coordinate global Finance Business Advice processes for GT, including Set the Tone, Quarterly Performance Review, Rolling Forecast and Medium Term Planning;
(3) To develop management information for steering of the Balance Sheet and related metrics, including LCR and NSFR;
(4) To be point of contact for Group Finance Bank, Investor Relations, Balance Sheet Risk and local Treasury controllers across the globe.

Who are we looking for?
For this vacancy the following characteristics will best fit:
- A Master's degree in Economics or Business Administration and at least 5 years of relevant working experience;
- Working knowledge of financial accounting, risk management, Basel regulations and relevant Finance processes and systems;
- Persistent; pro-active, client focused;
- Team player, with the ability to work independently;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Strong analytical and presentation skills;
- Self-confidence and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
