Revised Role Summary
The EMEA FinOps Lead is responsible for establishing and leading the FinOps capability across EMEA Technology. The role provides governance, visibility and optimization of cloud and AI-related technology consumption, ensuring technology spending is transparent, attributable, optimized and aligned with business objectives.
As EMEA accelerates adoption of cloud services, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled solutions, this role will serve as the regional focal point for Cloud FinOps, AI FinOps and technology consumption management, partnering closely with Technology Finance, Engineering, Product and Global FinOps teams to drive financial accountability, cost optimization and measurable value from cloud and AI investments.

Working closely with Technology Finance, Engineering, Product, Operations, and Global FinOps teams, the individual will drive transparency, financial accountability, and value realization from technology investments. This position sits at the intersection of technology, finance, analytics, and strategy, providing significant exposure to senior regional and global leaders.

The expected salary range for this position is PLN 234500 - 312800 per annum. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud FinOps
- Establish and mature the EMEA Cloud FinOps capability and governance framework.
- Develop visibility into Azure and cloud consumption across EMEA Technology.
- Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Support forecasting and analysis of cloud consumption trends.
- Promote accountability and ownership of cloud spend across technology teams.
AI FinOps
- Establish governance and reporting for AI-related technology consumption.
- Monitor adoption, utilization and cost trends across GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot and AI platforms.
- Support development of AI consumption transparency and emerging AI FinOps practices.
- Partner with global AI governance and FinOps teams to align standards and reporting.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Develop executive reporting and dashboards covering cloud and AI consumption.
- Support budget planning and forecasting related to cloud and AI services.
- Identify consumption drivers and optimization opportunities.
- Provide leadership with actionable insights into cloud and AI economics.
Cloud & AI Value Realization
- Develop metrics that demonstrate business value derived from cloud and AI investments.
- Track realization of cloud optimization benefits and AI productivity outcomes.
- Support measurement of adoption, utilization and return on investment for cloud and AI technologies.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to maximize value from technology consumption.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Technology Finance, Product, Engineering and Operations teams.
- Represent EMEA in Global FinOps, Cloud Economics and AI FinOps communities.
- Influence stakeholders to adopt cost-conscious consumption practices and optimization behaviors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Technology Financial Management (ITFM), FinOps, Cloud Economics, Finance, Technology Operations, or related areas.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud cost management, technology consumption reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into business insights.
- Experience developing executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting.
- Knowledge of cloud consumption models, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across technology, finance, and business functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed, and geographically distributed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- FinOps Foundation certification or equivalent FinOps experience.
- Experience with Azure Cost Management, Power BI, Apptio, or similar reporting and financial management tools.
- Experience supporting AI-related consumption reporting, including Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or other AI platforms.
- Understanding of technology cost allocation, showback/chargeback models, and financial governance.
- Experience identifying and delivering cloud optimization opportunities.
- Knowledge of technology value realization and ROI measurement frameworks.
- Experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
