By joining the Data Tribe within the Data & AI Division , you will play a key role in Euroclear's ambition to transform into an AI-augmented and data-driven organisation . Working in an international environment, you will collaborate with business, technology and governance stakeholders across the Group to enable trusted, discoverable and reusable data assets that drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance and business innovation.

As a Product Owner - Data Governance Expert , you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the Data Governance and Data Management capabilities that underpin Euroclear's data strategy. Acting as the bridge between business, Data Office, architecture, engineering and governance stakeholders, you will ensure that governance requirements are translated into scalable products, clear delivery priorities and measurable business outcomes.
General Job Description

Joining the Data Tribe, you will own and drive the vision, roadmap and backlog for Data Governance capabilities across Euroclear's data ecosystem. You will act as the business representative within one or more squads, ensuring that governance, compliance and data management requirements are effectively embedded into data platforms, analytics solutions and operating processes.

You will be accountable for maximizing business value, managing stakeholder expectations and driving adoption of capabilities such as metadata management, data lineage, data quality, data ownership, reference data management and data lifecycle management .

Operating in a complex environment with multiple business lines, regulatory requirements and cross-functional dependencies, you will work closely with Epic Owners, Product Owners, architects, engineers, the Data Office and senior business stakeholders to define priorities, manage delivery and ensure that governance capabilities support Euroclear's strategic objectives.

Beyond delivery, you will act as a champion for data governance, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency and data stewardship across the organisation while ensuring that solutions remain practical, scalable and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Governance

• Define and drive the roadmap for Data Governance and Data Management capabilities.
• Align product priorities with business objectives, regulatory requirements and enterprise data strategy.
• Partner with the Data Office, business and technology stakeholders to shape governance capabilities and operating models.
• Promote data ownership, stewardship and accountability across the organization.

Product Ownership & Delivery

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for Data Governance capabilities.
• Translate business and governance requirements into features and user stories.
• Collaborate with Epic Owners, Technology Product Owners and delivery teams to maximize business value.
• Validate delivered functionality and monitor value through KPIs and business outcomes.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, sprint reviews and product demonstrations.

Data Governance & Adoption

• Lead initiatives covering Data Quality, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Data Cataloging, Data Ownership and Data Lifecycle Management.
• Ensure governance requirements are embedded into data platforms, analytics solutions and AI initiatives by design.
• Drive adoption of governance capabilities, standards and controls across business and technology teams.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

• Build strong relationships with business, technology and governance stakeholders.
• Represent the Data Tribe in governance forums and cross-divisional initiatives.
• Manage risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations in a complex environment.
• Coach stakeholders on Data Governance best practices and contribute to continuous improvement across the Tribe.
