The Financial Accounting, Infrastructure andReporting team is accountable for the integrity of the books and records of theFirm / LOBs and leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standardand business process change management events.

The Finance &Treasury/Chief Investment Office Chief Data Office (CDO) as part of theFinancial Accounting, Infrastructure and Reporting team is responsible forproviding fit for purpose data required by Corporate Finance & T/CIO anddriving data governance and policy adherence to the Firmwide Data Managementstandards and capabilities.

The Finance & T/CIO Data Office islooking for an Associate level candidate who will be part of a high performing teamof data management professionals focused on delivering innovative datamanagement solutions to our stakeholders in Finance & T/CIO enabling moreeffective and efficient data.

Responsibilities

Fit for Purpose Data Delivery forReference Data: D eliver of the following data managementcapabilities driven by GF&BM projects, Firmwide Data ManagementInitiatives, or Corporate Finance non-project related needs as it pertains toFirmwide Reference Data.

  • Support identification of data requirements
  • Define businessterms in Firmwide Data Glossary
  • Support identification, communication &resolution of data quality issues. Engage with reference data teams to developand maintain firm wide evergreen operating models for data consumers to resolvereference data issues.
  • Facilitate implementation of data qualitycontrols within Corporate Finance applications and upstream LOB applications
  • Facilitate documentation of data lineage frompoint of consumption back to point of origin and engage with CorporateTechnology Information Architects to describe data within Corporate Financeapplications
  • Confirm data sourcing from ADS/SORs
Data Quality Center of Excellence (COE) Support

  • Aid in facilitating thecreation and support of repeatable and efficient Corporate Finance & T/CIO andcross-LOB data quality operating models to manage the active book of dataquality issues
  • Support the d evelopment andcreation of standard data quality metrics, analytics and reporting to properlytrack progress
  • Facilitate aligning recurringmanual adjustments to data quality issues and data quality; identify andimplement process and tool improvements; Enable regular reporting to seniorstakeholders
  • Support data qualityreporting required by forums led by Finance & T/CIO Asset Class DataManagement teams (e.g., DMCs) or for Corporate Finance senior stakeholderforums (e.g., Reg Reporting SteerCo)
  • Provide requirements &support implementation of Firmwide DQ Initiatives (e.g.,Firmwide DQ metrics,Sticky Tail, DQM Simplification)




Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project and/or Data management experience required
  • Strong core finance technical skills and solid understanding of finance processes, infrastructure and systems
  • Proficient with Excel and any experience with Collibra, JIRA or Data Quality tracking tools desirable
  • Subject Matter Expertise of Consumer or Investment banking products
  • Attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
  • Proven ability to lead across LOBs/Functions and geographies
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound judgment
