Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide financial reporting to our ultra-high net worth clients within the Fiduciary Reporting Team, ensuring that the trustee's duty to account for trust funds is fulfilled, as well as compliance with the local reporting requirements in various jurisdictions

Job Background/context:
Fiduciary Reporting is the team for Citi Trust located in Warsaw, the international trust company of Citi Private Bank

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and delivery of financial statements for companies and trusts in a variety of jurisdictions
  • Ensure accuracy of financial statements and completeness of financial records in line with reporting deadlines
  • Provide preparers of financial statements  with ongoing feedback and summary of required corrections
  • Maintain effective communication with business partners and  other departments in different locations 
  • Act as key liaison for external auditors 
  • Act as subject matter expert on financial reporting items
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis and other duties as assigned
  • Participate in assigned projects and enhancements leading to process improvements
  • Contribute to development of the best practices for the department


Qualifications

Requirements
  • At least 3 years previous experience in financial reporting/audit/accounting
  • Experience in accounting is a must
  • Accounting  / finance or related university degree
  • Solid knowledge of financial statements, instruments and financial analysis
  • Practical knowledge of accounting standards (including IFRS) would be an asset
  • Investment funds / Trust experience is an advantage
  • Solid MS Excel skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English 
  • A self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Professional qualification in accountancy or financial reporting would be  an advantage
