Valuations Department (part of a global unit Markets & Securities Services) is responsible for calculation and verification of the of the Net Asset Value (NAV) of Citi Clients' funds in line with the fund prospectus. 
This includes the monitoring and review of the activity taking place within the fund including but not limited to the verification of security trading, security valuations, corporate action events, income and expense accruals, derivative positions, and reconciliation of accounting records to the custodian. 

  • Proceeding fund valuation and performing additional tasks accurately and in timely manner 
  • Verifying transactions in the accounting system, checking correctness of prepared statements / reports and calculated NAV value 
  • Performing control function (checker) in the process, controlling the work of team members 
  • Independently resolving and coordinating resolution of the problems within valuation process 
  • Replying in timely manner to all queries received from internal and external business partners 
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies between Fund Accounting books and Custody/Counterparty records for both cash and securities accounts 
  • Monitoring aging reconciliation discrepancies on the section/department level 
  • Participating and coordinating client /process/solution onboarding on the team/section/department level 
  • Building relationship with the clients and business partners 
  • Reporting to the client and senior management 
  • Supporting the team/section in nonstandard situations which require expert knowledge and experience 
  • Identifying inefficiencies, risks and control gaps in the process and developing and implementing changes to eliminate them


  • Good knowledge of financial markets 
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in institutions linked to financial markets 
  • Ability to self-organize and manage time effectively 
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to build trust and cooperation between various stakeholders 
  • Very good command of English
