Simon-Kcher is enabling its employees with generative AI based soltions to improve prodctivity. To spport this endeavor, a central Data & AI fnction is being established. Together with or Data Analytics team Elevate and the Software Development team Engine, the demand for spport of software development by IT is constantly increasing. This role can be performed flly remotely within Poland.



The salary for this position ranges from PLN 7 to PLN 8 gross/month (oP), depending on the candidate's relevant experience, skill set, level of expertise and overall fit for the role. Additional factors sch as indstry backgrond, technical competencies and interview performance may also inflence the final offer. The compensation package at Simon-Kcher CBS consists of a gross base salary, a monthly remote work allowance and an annal bons. The bons is paid in December and is based on the reslts of a 36-degree performance evalation.

How yo will create an impact:

Design, bild, and operate Azre infrastrctre sing Terraform as the primary Infrastrctre as Code platform.

Own Terraform architectre across mltiple prodction environments, inclding modles, state, versioning, dependencies, and environment separation.

Define resable IaC standards, patterns, and atomation that can be adopted across engineering teams.

Bild and improve Azre DevOps CI/CD pipelines covering bild, test, infrastrctre deployment, application deployment, approvals, rollback, and release controls.

Establish strong SDLC practices inclding code qality, secrity scanning, qality gates, and tools sch as SonarQbe.

Design secre Azre environments sing VNets, private endpoints, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Valt, and least-privilege principles.

Operate and improve AKS environments, inclding deployment, scaling, networking, observability, secrity, and trobleshooting.

Lead prodction incident management, inclding investigation, prioritization, technical coordination, commnication, resoltion, and root-case follow-p.

Make and commnicate architectral decisions, clearly explaining trade-offs, risks, operational impact, and maintainability.

Take end-to-end ownership of platform initiatives while giding engineers and commnicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Yor profile:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Clod, or Platform Engineering with clear evidence of Senior-level ownership. Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, gide other engineers, and commnicate clearly in English (C1+).

Deep hands-on Terraform expertise is a core reqirement, inclding personally designing, implementing, and operating prodction infrastrctre at scale. Nice to have: HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification or another relevant Terraform certification.

Proven experience managing Terraform across mltiple complex prodction environments, with strong knowledge of modles, state, lifecycle, imports, dependencies, and deployment strategies. A pls: Experience managing infrastrctre across a large nmber of prodction environments.

Strong hands-on Azre experience, inclding secre networking, identity, access management, secrets management, and prodction operations.

Strong Azre DevOps experience, particlarly designing and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines. Nice to have: Experience with GitHb Actions.

Good nderstanding of the complete SDLC, inclding atomated testing, code qality, secrity scanning, artifact management, approvals, and release governance. Additional advantage: Experience with Azre Policy, Defender for Clod, or container/image secrity tooling.

Solid Kbernetes experience, preferably with AKS, pls strong Docker and containerization knowledge.

Proven experience leading complex prodction incidents and driving root-case analysis and follow-p improvements.

Strong stakeholder-management skills, inclding the ability to explain technical risks, trade-offs, incidents, and delivery challenges clearly.

Nice to have: Experience with Azre AI / Fondry, ML platforms, or data-heavy workloads. Additional asset: Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or similar AI orchestration, evalation, and observability platforms.
