Job description
A national Working Capital Officer takes care of the company’s cash-flow by arranging the optimal balance between resources in cash or convertible to cash (Current Assets) and cash requirements (Current Liabilities).

Your tasks and responsibilities
 

  • Performs accounts receivable invoice booking/posting and controlling
  • Verifies customer credit approval
  • Accounts receivables age analysis and reporting
  • Creates Customer Credit policy including the assessment of credit applications and outstanding credit
  • Researches credit history and applies acceptable credit lines and payment terms to new customer and/or supplier accounts
  • Collects and maintains customer accounts
  • Follows-up on correspondence, resolution and escalation of overdue accounts
  • Monitors and reduces DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), Credit Limit Excess and Overdue Aging
  • Ensures timely, accurate and complete invoicing to customers
  • Monitors and increases DPO (Days Payables Outstanding) and credit terms with suppliers
  • Implements and monitors national Trade Receivables, Trade Payables and Cash & Bank guidelines (including ICS reporting)
  • Maintains national working capital management/treasury reporting and any other reporting tool that supports management decisions


Your skills and experience

  • Higher Professional Education in Business Administration or Economics is a must
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in finance/accounting and administrative functions preferably in international companies
  • Experience in credit control and collection processes
  • Knowledge of Trade Receivables, Trade Payables and Cash & Bank guidelines, awareness of approval competence levels as per CoC
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • High level of self-discipline and work independence
  • Fluent English language skills are a must
  • Advanced Computer literacy (knowledge of MS Office package)
  • High level of Commercial Acumen
