AD, Learning & Development, HR role with Global FI

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Learning & Talent Management, preferably in a fast-paced global Organisation
  • Exp gained in a learning role at the global HQ level is useful but not a must
  • Forward thinking, with the ability to introduce best in class practices to the organisation.

 

Our client is a renowned and global financial institution.  This is an AD Talent Development in its Global HR team.

 

For this role, you report to the Dirctor, Learning & TM.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic learning framework and curriculum for employees that aligns with the firm’s overall talent framework

 

  • Review existing programmes and develop new programmes to cater to the evolving needs of the organisation. Work with external training provider firms (limited stand-up delivery of training required for this role).

 

  • Develop and track effectiveness of talent programmes for the organisation

 

  • Design and deliver creative solutions to cater to the diverse employee population globally

 

  • Conduct in-house programmes using various outreach platforms and modes

 

  • Partners with the business managers and stakeholders to develop and deliver effective learning programmes

 

  • Develop and manage policies & procedures Manage Learning Operations

 

Qualifications/Capabilities

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in the area of Human Resource or Psychology
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Learning & Talent Management, preferably in a fast-paced global Organisation
  • Exp gained in a learning role at the global HQ level is useful but not a must
  • Has experience supporting the Learning function across all business divisions.
  • Able to initiate, conceptualise and introduce  new learning programs that are in alignment with the firm’s objectives (i.e. not just doing  pure execution work)
  • Forward thinking, with the ability to introduce best in class practices to the organisation.
  • A strong domain knowledge of Learning and Talent Management, constantly keeping abreast of the latest trends and development in the Learning and Talent development space
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written communication and presentation skills
  • Mature, self-driven individual who works well under pressure, team player, and tolerates ambiguity, organised and able to multi-task effectively
  • Meticulous, hands-on and resilient with the ability to problem solve
  • Highly motivated individual and fast learner who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong planning and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Creative and good at design, written and verbal communications Excellent time management and decision-making skills Experience in managing teams
  • Able to thrive in a global role
  • Hands-on as this role will not manage staff directly.
