About this role
Driving partnerships and engagement across industries and regions, the Innovation Group is looking for a strategic, results-driven team player who is passionate about developing strong synergies with the business and social communities surrounding DBS. You will be responsible for the successful conceptualization, planning, socializing, marketing, and delivery of engagement platforms (ie. programs). You will also co-ordinate the curriculum, project management and management of their inter-dependencies. We are looking for someone who enjoys developing relevant initiatives for both internal and external relationships. You must want to truly redefine banking, to make it more joyful and more invisible.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for nurturing and building communities in verticals (education, interest groups, corporations, government and non-profits) as well as age groups
  • Develop and create programs/initiatives with those communities to benefit both DBS’ and their culture
  • Design initiatives, from idea to execution
  • Manage the initiatives’ implementation and budget - and ensure KPIs
  • Promote the initiative in creative ways
  • Collaborate with internal DBS stakeholders to amplify the initiatives
  • Mentor on design thinking, lean start-up and human centered design methodologies within scope of initiatives – when needed
  • Lead, manage and develop functional resources and project teams
  • Examples of initiatives in this role: UNI.CORN and Hack2Hire
Requirements
  • Experience in event/program management (hackathons a plus), marketing, and business development (for partnerships) - preferably in innovation field
  • Knowledge in innovation/service design methodologies a plus
  • Proven track record of developing successful strategic initiatives/programs
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic, enthusiastic and creative
  • Excellent organization skills, and can work independently
  • A hands-on team player who is able to see the big picture, possess a can-do attitude and able to handle ambiguity
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs
  • Great sense of humor
  • Passionate about making a difference
