You will play an important role in monitoring a portfolio of strategic investments in airports worldwide.
You will be part of our growing collaborative team of airport investment and airport advisory professionals. You will play an important role in monitoring a portfolio of strategic investments in airports worldwide. On a regular basis, you will discuss with the management team of portfolio companies on financial performance and strategy and also monitor the performance of the assets against investment plans. You will assist to propose and implement solutions to enhance the value and financial performance of the portfolio companies through new business initiatives, financial restructuring, etc. You will play an active role in analysing new investment opportunities, develop financial models for valuation and returns calculation as well as performance for each portfolio company. You will receive significant exposure in managing investment selection, evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, closing, ongoing corporate governance and potential exit of the portfolio companies. You will carry out research and monitor strategic developments within the markets and industry and make detailed valuation analyses and presentations to the Board and/or Investment Committee.
You should have at least a 2nd Upper Honours degree in Legal Studies / Business Administration / Finance / Economics or a related field of study with a minimum of two years of experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance. Prior work experience with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and legal is an advantage. You should be familiar with structuring investments including negotiating and reviewing of terms, term-sheets, purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, governance rights, price adjustment calculations from a business perspective, describing situations and contingencies, and roles and rights of investors. Possessing a keen interest in the infrastructure or aviation sector, you should also be adept in developing financial analysis including valuations/financial models, IRR analysis, trading multiples precedent transactions, and comparable companies; and developing marketing materials, valuation presentations, and presentations for investors committee or board. Additionally, you should enjoy working with diverse teams in challenging environments and possess a demonstrated passion for excellence in endeavours you have undertaken.
