We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Credit Services.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Supervise the preparation of credit documents to support business & growth.
  • Review and check that the credit facility letters, security documents and other supporting documents prepared by Maker are accurate
  • Sign Facility Letters, Insurance documents as per signing authority.
  • Liaise with internal legal department on non standard documentation.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel on legal opinion, conveyancing matters, registrations
  • Ensure credit approval conditions or condition precedents are met prior to approving the credit limits in the system.
  • Ensure that quarterly cash surrender values in relation to insurance policies assigned to the Bank are requested, received and updated in system in a timely manner.
  • Review company searches.
  • Prepare and check periodic management and regulatory reports.
  • Participate in new project or services discussion with key stakeholders
  • Assist in audit matters
  • Update Desk Instruction Manual in accordance to the global standards and Group Functional Instruction Manuals

  • Experience in credit documentation with experience in a checker function.
  • Knowledge of Private Banking business, credit products, in particular property and insurance financing.
  • Knowledge of security and lending principles.
  • Possess good organization, written and inter personal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to adhere to tight deadline and provide guidance to Maker
  • Independent worker
  • Team player, ability to work well within the team and work collaboratively across the wider business and functions
  • Competent in handling Microsoft Office systems like Word, Excel, Powerpoint
