Our client is a leading Healthcare IT company in Singapore. They are looking at hiring a number of Application Analysts to help fuel their growth in Singapore.

Job Description

Application Analysts will be responsible for the configuration and customization of the applications. Acting as the primary support contact for their applications, the analysts will manage the system configurations, testing, administration, deployment and support. The Application Analysts will closely work with users to understand requirements and manage the systems accordingly.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary support contact for the application's end-users, after initial triage by help desk staff
  • Identifying issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and working to resolve them
  • Guiding workflow design, completing advanced build and testing of the system
  • Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system configuration and cross-application master data files
  • Maintaining regular communication with vendor, including participating in weekly project team meetings
  • Working with vendor representatives and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs in regards to the project deliverables and timeline
  • Developing an understanding of operational and clinical needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending discussion sessions
  • Troubleshooting advanced problems and questions
  • Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership
  • Holding weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones
  • Provide on-going application support and be involved in various stages of the SDLC
  • Conduct user requirement analysis for the development / implementation of new systems and for enhancements to existing systems
  • Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve business problems
  • Involvement in the system integration-testing phase prior to implementation
  • Plan and coordinate end-user training for any system implementations or enhancements
  • Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport
  • Liaise closely with vendors in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies
  • Support the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation
  • Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance standby support
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members

  • A degree in computer science, engineering or any IT equivalent degree
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems
  • A successful record of accomplishment in project management, user and vendor management
  • Lead Analysts should have demonstrated experience in leading small to mid-scale projects
  • Experience in MS Windows environment & application support
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience in healthcare industry is an added advantage
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT equivalent
  • Exposure to providing application maintenance and support
