We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Management team in Singapore. This is a challenging, valued and visible role within Macquarie Capital and you will work closely with deal teams across Asia as well as related business and support units throughout Macquarie including Central Executive, Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Daily responsibilities would include (but not limited to):

  • Deal tracking and understanding of the deal pipeline
  • Assisting in comprehensive revenue and expense analysis
  • Assisting in preparing presentations and reports to MacCap Asia CEO, COO, and Head Office
  • Coordinating transfer pricing process
  • Preparing fee invoices to clients upon deal completion
  • Maintaining fee note, mandate, and travel registers
  • Tracking receivables, out of pocket expenses and payments to vendors
  • Assisting in coordinating events and meetings (e.g. Annual conference, Quarterly Portfolio reviews etc.)
  • Contact person between bankers and other internal departments to resolve queries in an efficient manner
  • Updating deal database systems
  • Assisting in ad-hoc reporting, business operational issues and projects as required

Key skills required:
  • Degree in finance or accounting
  • Around 2-5 years of banking or Big Four accounting firm experience
  • Proficient with Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills and people management skills
  • Organised, self-starter who can manage a range of competing deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
