Responsibilities
  • Responsible for full spectrum of payroll functions in relation to the portfolio of clients
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments are process in compliance with the client's policies and statutory requirements
  • Filing of Form IR21 (Tax clearance) and preparation of IR8A, IR8S, Appendix 8A and Appendix 8B
  • Filing of government paid leave - childcare, maternity and paternity
  • Filing of NS claim
  • Liaise with government authorities on payroll, CPF and tax filing requirements
  • Handle clients' leave and claim management in accordance with clients' policies, procedures and statutory requirements
  • Review payroll deliverables for a portfolio of client
  • Resolve problems and respond to inquiries related to payroll earnings, deductions and tax withholding.
  • Coordinate with HR on employee data changes and benefits as recorded in the HR system
  • Coordinate with management on key initiatives, special projects, and additional workload
  • Ensure accurate and timely responses, meeting all provided SLA
  • Communicate/escalate issues timely to management
  • Manage the mailbox, ensuring proper teammates have necessary actionable items
  • Review payroll system audits and address issues
  • Assist in drafting Standard operating procedures
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by the department

Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-5 year's relevant work experience preferably in professional payroll outsourcing firm or in a large size multinational
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on experience in handling in medium to large size payroll clients
  • Proficient with MS Office and comfortable in learning payroll systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Meticulous and organized individual with strong initiatives
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to multi-task and work within deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Workday, Successfactor or Oracle knowledge preferred
  • Experience in HR system implementation is a plus
