The Technology and Operations functions make up a significant population here in Asia Pacific. As a result of this and indeed a number of large scale projects the organisation is running they are seeking a COO, Chief of Staff or Business Manager for a specific global technology function.

As a result of this and indeed a number of large scale projects the organisation is running they are seeking a COO, Chief of Staff or Business Manager for a specific global technology function.

The Role

This position requires a senior professional with experience and a successful track record in financial control and/or business operations.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Managing a technology budget, financial planning, reporting and control across a number of complex technology programs
  • Responsible for the technology resource and location strategy.
  • Projects executed by a combination of employees and vendors across a number of locations in Asia
  • Responsible for day to day operations (resourcing, contracting, space, training, communication)
  • Responsible for building and sustaining relationships with senior technology managers in APAC and globally
  • Responsible with management of relationships with partner support functions (Finance, Procurement, HR, Staffing Office, Compliance)
  • Support the team in developing, driving, and coordinating a consolidated strategy and actively participate in supporting strategy implementation
  • Closely monitor the development, implementation and performance of business critical issues including dashboard and KPI as applicable
  • Preparation of senior management presentations, and monthly management reports and papers

The Successful Candidate;

  • Senior financial and/ or operations professional with at least 10-12 years experience, preferably in a technology consultancy or software development organisation
  • 3rd level business or technical degree
  • Experience in program budgeting, expense tracking and financial management
  • Highly effective presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills are required Candidate is expected to be a strong team player and work effectively in cross-organization situations
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills in particular Excel.
