Department Overview:
Client Due Diligence Services is a unit of BPS - Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management which also includes Client Onboarding, and Regulation Integration. The Client Due diligence Services function performs a wide variety of client activities including periodic KYC reviews on existing clients subject and pursuant to CS policies and procedures as well as prescribed requirements imposed by local and global regulators (e.g. HKMA, MAS, FINMA etc.).
This role will support the KYC review team for APAC and helps with the identification of financial crime related risks and adherence with requirements set out by MAS / HKMA in relation to existing clients.

Your role will entail:
• The opportunity to conduct periodic Know Your Client (KYC) reviews of existing clients, performing enhanced due diligence, and ensuring overall compliance with CS procedural standards
• Validation of the identity of existing clients across the APAC division
• Verification in accordance with local regulatory (MAS/HKMA) and Credit Suisse policies and procedures
• Ensuring Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media / Negative News screenings performed in accordance within CS procedures.

• Act as the SME, work closely with Front Office, maintain a single point of contact and prioritize the completion of recertification pipeline according to ever changing demands, and deliver satisfactory results
• Ensure timely escalation and own proposed course of actions to line management to address identified risks and blocking points. Also, identify, analyze, report and explore proposed course of actions
