Data & Analytics Technology Delivery Manager
The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team  in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team.
  • Facilitate the establishment and execution of the roadmap/vision for information delivery and management; including the Sales & Marketing, Data Warehouse, BI & Analytics, Content Management, and Data Management
  • Partner with data architect and deliver the solutions that fulfill the Business information needs and align with the information vision and strategy - balancing short term and long term business needs to ensure that the architecture can scale and evolve accordingly
  • Engage an end-to-end approach by connecting all the pieces of data ecosystem leveraging all available assets/data
  • Embed/commercialize 'Real-Time data' across the bank - for contextual in the moment marketing campaigns, improving the experience through proactive service and transform processes from batch to real-time.
  • Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
  • Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
  • Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Expert understanding (15+ years in a related field) of data analytics, Business Intelligence, and marketing campaign lifecycle
  • Expert in Consumer banking products and the critical business KPI's required to manage the lines of business (credit cards, Loans, Investment products, etc.) and functions (Digital, Sales and Distribution, operations, etc.)
  • Expert technical (systems, coding, etc.) understanding of backend systems that are required to implement and execute self-service insights and campaign delivery (data, platforms, channels)
  • Expert knowledge of data operations and which automated controls are needed to maintain an enterprise data lake
  • Analytical knowledge to understand real-time data, metadata required to run effective targeting and it's commercialization for analytical campaigns
  • Hands-on experience working with real-time data ingestion/consumption incl. working knowledge of streaming platform
  • A self-starter who takes the initiative, is persistent and wants to achieve results in a fast-paced complex business environment.
  • Curious, innovative and data-driven in approach.
  • Communicates clearly and can articulate complex analysis in clear business speak.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, able to influence myriad of stakeholders and navigate complex cross-functional teams
  • Experience in change management methodologies and tactics
  • Experience with enterprise-level budget planning and management processes
  • Is accustomed to managing multiple, often competing priorities to synthesize into a game plan
