The APAC Technology and Change organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions, implementation of change programs, and the associated change, design and data governance for the APAC Division. The organization includes APAC Private Banking (PB) IT and Global Markets (GM) IT.
APAC PB IT provides digital capabilities and technology solutions for the APAC Private Banking business, delivering front to back aligned, high quality IT solutions and services to support the growth and profitability of the Bank, ensure regulatory compliance, drive efficiency and further reduce complexity and cost. Our Digital Private Bank was launched in Asia in 2015 and has won numerous accolades. We have been awarded the "Best Private Bank - Digital Experience" for the second consecutive year by Asian Private Banker applauding us for being "a true fintech pioneer in the private banking space" and for our attention to client experience and the platform's advanced functionalities.
Role Responsibility:

  • You will lead technical solution development.
  • You would automate and streamline product operations and processes.
  • You will build and maintain tools for monitoring and operations.
  • You will mentor Engineers and construct DevOps solutions including deployment pipelines and CI/CD toolkits.
  • You will contribute to the design of software and infrastructure to ensure projects meet goals for security, scalability, maintainability, availability, and resiliency.
  • You will fix and resolve issues in our dev, QA, non-prod, and production environments.
  • You will respond to service disruptions while maintaining a daring uptime SLA.

You Offer
We have a preference for the following knowledge and experience:
  • You have experienced knowledge of CI/CD principles and technologies such as Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.
  • You have a working understanding of code and script (Shell, Java, JS, Python, Ruby).
  • You have experience with container technology and cloud application platforms.
  • You have experience utilizing automated testing tools and performance monitoring tools.
  • You have experienced knowledge of using log management tools such as Splunk.
  • You have experienced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques, along with knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipment.
  • You have knowledge of standard methodologies and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
We expect these qualifications and work experience:
  • You have a Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or related discipline. (preferred but not required)
  • You have significant work experience in systems engineering, cloud computing and exposure to more recent technologies.
  • You have theoretical foundations as well as practical experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
  • You have a real passion for and experience of Agile working practices like Scrum, with a strong desire to work with baked-in quality disciplines such as TDD, BDD, test automation and DevOps principles.
  • You have proven ability to work well in delivering complex systems in a dynamic changing environment.
