We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Head of Business Development .

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Develop, communicate and track against five year strategic plan including developing playbooks for each functional area
  • Participate in the development or articulation of Group Strategic objectives and priorities
  • Communicate to stakeholders regularly against strategy and ensure constant alignment
  • Lead the annual planning exercise including resource planning
  • Analyse business performance information, including Scorecards, Annual Operating Plans and track implementation of key strategic initiatives
  • Lead and support, as required, on ad hoc projects, including Mergers and Acquisitions, product and market concept testing, business case development, strategic reviews, management information, accountability and governance, as well as continuous review and improvement of internal processes
  • Lead change management initiatives and drive programme delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks
  • Drive and ensure adoption of HSBC standards and work in alignment with HSBC methodology at all times

  • Deep understanding of the Singapore Insurance Market
  • Proven track record in strategy development and best in class execution skills, high net worth experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent project management Skills
  • Excellent communication, especially written skills and influencing skills
  • Financial savvy and innovative and intellectual curiosity
  • Self-motivated, driven to succeed and experience in leading high performing teams to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant years' experience
