The responsibilities

  • Enable our growth plan in the APAC region from an IT infrastructure point of view in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.
  • Act as a direct contact for our Managing Director APAC and his Chief of Staff with respect to Corporate IT matters.
  • Undertake internal IT projects as required to ensure on time and on budget delivery
  • Own and execute the alignment of the internal regional IT strategy such that it enables the employees within region and aligns with the global standards.
  • Build and leverage Manila capabilities to support Asia Pacific and Global functions where appropriate.
  • Manage and mentor the local Corporate IT staff, ensuring appropriate skills and capabilities exist within the region
  • Create, Manage and Maintain training and communication standards, templates and knowledge management for the employees to gain the most from the corporate system.
  • Define and agree on internal SLA metric with the business
  • Define and Manage an appropriate operational governance framework with the business within Asia Pacific
  • Ensure alignment of internal IT Services with our customer facing IT organization.
    Define, measure, and improve IT Services for internal users across Asia Pacific and globally
  • Act as an interface between internal users and the Corporate IT organization (IT Request Management, User Satisfaction, etc.)
    Support the yearly innovation planning and budgeting.

  • Your profile
    • University degree (MSc) in Computer Science
    • ITIL certification
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing internal systems support and IT service management to geographically distributed organisation at a Management Level
    • A minimum of 5 years people management experience
    • A minimum of 10 years Technology Services experience
    • Broad IT know-how (Windows based)
    • Good understanding of Network Architecture and technology
    • Experience with Cloud and O365 deployments
    • An understanding and experience of Security requirements in FSI regulated industry.
    • Deep understanding of ITIL concepts
    • Experience in collaborating in an international environment (Exposure to Asian and European culture)
    • Excellent English skills (verbal and written)
