Our client is a major oil and gas company with established operating assets and trading expertise. It has significant international presence, with Singapore as a key regional hub. There is now an exciting opportunity to join them to lead its HR function in Singapore, supporting the region’s businesses.
This is an exciting role supporting the Regional Managing Director in delivering the division’s strategies and goals. Managing a team, you will be responsible for HR strategy and operations, including talent acquisition, talent management, rewards and recognition, and employee engagement. You will also be instrumental in driving HR transformation and change management in alignment with the company’s innovation and growth agenda.
You are a degree qualified with a track record of human resources management experience gained in major energy trading companies. You have an in-depth understanding of the Singapore market, and its regulations and practices. The ideal candidate will possess a deep generalist toolkit and the agility to switch between a tactical and strategic mindset. Fluency in Mandarin will be essential due to business presence in China and regular interactions required with counterparts in China. You are a dynamic leader and change agent who is strategic yet hands on, with strong EQ and communication skills.
