Junior Project Manager
Responsibilities: - Support functional projects related to security operations, security related training programs and crisis management
- Support policy, procedure, and project work as assigned, working directly with the leadership
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, and timelines
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Use tools to monitor project progress (Asana is used)
- Create and maintain project documentation, plans and reports
- Manage meetings, actions and tasks
- Support management through project planning and coordination
- Simplify processes and procedures into understandable language, workflows and instructions.
- Communicates initiative status and feedback to managers, key stakeholders, and senior management
Desired Qualifications/Certifications: - Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role (3+ years)
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, Asana would be preferred
