Marketing Executive

IG Asia is seeking a Marketing Executive to manage our events (including education program) as well as assisting in creating our communications in line with business objectives

Job Responsibilities:

  • To help in execution of our education program, IG Trading Track and liaising with our educators and vendors, weekly reporting and improving our IG trading track offering
  • Events coordinator for all IG Singapore events, from brainstorming, logistics, merchandising and execution of event
  • Maintaining and keeping up to date with our shopfront assets – TV assets as well as shop front’s creative
  • To create and maintain the online content of IG’s financial websites and apps – including product and service descriptions, market news, platform pages, technical product details, updating legal copy
  • To assist in localising copy of online and offline communications, including advertising, for the appropriate audience from the retail segment through to the high-end institutional investors
  • Write and manage the delivery of client and prospect emails (routine and one-off promotions or newsletters)
  • Help administrate social media channel for Singapore, not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Youtube
  • To provide and rework copy for other departments and offices within IG (including PR, advertising, SEO etc), and for selected third parties (e.g. copy for a partner website)
  • To assist in the production of printed materials (e.g. brochures, flyers, inserts)
  • To thoroughly proof-read all the above materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency of IG’s house style and brand guidelines and liaise with IG’s compliance teams to ensure all content and materials comply with general and local regulations
  • To participate in local marketing efforts and projects as directed by line-manager

Person Specification:

Experience:

  • Native English speaker
  • A minimum of 2-3 years in financial products marketing or events management
  • Excellent writing and strong numerical skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • An appreciation of website usability and design issues.
  • Experience in HTML and content management systems (CMS)
  • Understanding of Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Dream weaver and CQ5

Qualifications:

  • Degree educated in Finance, Marketing, Business, Communications

Self-starting, enthusiastic team-player who will be willing and able to help colleagues at peak periods; confident / friendly; deadline / delivery conscious and flexible to changing priorities. A desire to learn about IG’s investment products with a willingness to develop. Ability to form working relationships quickly, both within the immediate team and across the organisation.
