A growing Multi-Family Office, core accounting responsibilities, secondary responsibilities entail supporting compliance and to a lesser extent investment operations; 6 years of relevant experience

Our Client is a rapidly growing multi-family office helmed by investment and wealth management professionals with an outstanding track record.  As part of their growth plan, they are seeking to hire a qualified Accountant.

Apart from financial accounting, which is the core responsibility, the candidate will also be involved in compliance and investment operations to a lesser extent.

Accounting (60%)

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial accounts and management
    reports for a portfolio of companies in accordance with the Group policies and procedures, as well as compliance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
  • Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate income tax filing requirements
  • Process GST remission claims for Singapore incorporated entities

Investment Operations (15%)

Providing cover for investment operations:-

  • Manage daily processing of trade orders to ensure instructions are placed timely and accurately; monitor settlements and resolve any trade discrepancies
  • Reconciliation of cash and security positions
  • Key user for trade support, database and trade booking systems

Compliance (25%)

Support the COO in compliance matters relating to the company:-

  • Assist with regulatory and compliance matters with respect to the company’s operations
  • Assist in the preparation for regulatory inquiries and audits.
  • Update and maintain compliance registers and checklists
  • Manage Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and coordinate BCP exercise and reporting


  • A recognised Accounting degree or ACCA qualified
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience, experience with investment operations and/ or compliance is a plus but not a pre-requisite
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS
  • Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
  • Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
