About the Role

A well-respected global hedge fund is seeking a successful Project Manager (VP/ Director equivalent) to spearhead firmwide initiatives in APAC. This is an individual contributor position that offers direct exposure to C-Suite leadership and the opportunity to influence projects that drive both operational efficiency and strategic growth in Asia Pac.

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management : Take ownership and drive initiatives that cut across multiple divisions, including Investments, Compliance, Operations, Finance, etc., spanning Equities, FICC, and other trading strategies.
2. Shape Strategy Execution : Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business strategies into actionable projects that support expansion and innovation.
3. Streamline Processes : Identify inefficiencies, design scalable solutions, and embed systematic practices that enhance productivity across the firm.
4. Redefine PMO Function : Establish and refine project management frameworks, ensuring consistency and excellence in delivery.
5. Gain Firmwide Insight : Work across nearly every department, gaining a holistic view of hedge fund operations and contributing to initiatives that shape the firm’s growth strategies.

Requirements

1. Approximately 10-15 years in program/ project management, firm-wide transformation management, leading large‑scale initiatives within investment banking, hedge fund, or global asset managers
2. Prior experience in global management consulting firms with financial services (particularly hedge fund or investment focus) would be advantageous
3. Preferably with exposure to Global Markets products, including FICC and Equities
4. PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
5. Confident communicator, able to lead meetings and influence senior decision‑makers.
6. Results‑driven professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments and can deliver independently.
7. Skilled in project management tools and comfortable with data analytics or BI platforms.
8. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to execution excellence.
