Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of MAS returns, ensuring reports are prepared accurately and submitted to meet required deadlines
- Act as central point of contact for any internal or external queries relating to MAS or financial reporting requirements
- Initiate and manage both projects and enterprises to improve regulatory reporting processes and to meet the changing needs of regulatory and reporting requirements
- Support Financial Controller and act as second in command when absent
- Ensure timely GL account reconciliation, break investigation and resolution
- Responsible for Statutory Audits and Financial Reporting and Accounts Verification
Prerequisites for role:
- At least 6-10 years post-qualified experience within the financial services industry with strong financial control and regulatory reporting functions in a global banking environment
- The ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo and outstanding communication skills are essential skills for this role
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent would be highly regarded
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
