SENIOR ENGINEER
SENIOR ENGINEER To be a part of the Engineering Planning Department responsible for planning and rolling out Singapore's Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN) fibre infrastructure.
Responsibilities: • Carry out detailed planning work and have the plans implemented so as to meet building readiness requirements
• To monitor status of works and ensure that the works are carried out within the requisite timelines
• Approval of engineering schemes / engineering plans
• To oversee the preparation and update of Network information for generation of Network Information records
• Preparation of annual budget and ensure that expenses are within the approved budget
• Preparation and evaluation of tenders
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Conversant with COPIF (Code Of Practice) requirements as stipulated by the Authority (IMDA)
• Well versed in various GIS systems (e.g. SmallWorld and Integraph), so as to be able to use the system tools for planning and execution purposes
• Would be useful if the candidate has outside plant experience / knowledge
