Sales Manager, Energy & Commodity - SEA

FIS I&W is seeking a proven sales professional with a demonstrated track record successfully selling premier software and services into the energy industry to join the Energy and Commodity Solutions Sales Team in South East Asia. The Sales Professional all aspects of the sales cycle at FIS Energy and Commodity Solutions, from identification and acquisition of clients, through the pre-sales process to deal closure, acting as a relationship manager and primary contact person for the client. Our sales approach is highly consultative and our clients draw confidence from the knowledge and technical credibility of the individuals they encounter during the sales process.
Based in Singapore, the Sales Professional will be responsible for driving new business and must be experienced in breaking into new accounts through existing contacts, cold calling and networking in order to facilitate the eventual closure of business with new prospects. Key attributes are a high degree of motivation and the desire to grow a business rapidly and effectively. Strong client facing, internal communication, team skills, attention to detail and a business service focus are essential.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years proven track record in strategic selling to C level executives, strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team building, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently. Successful candidate will design, implement a sales strategy and effectively manage the sales cycle to include: lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, business development and closing sales within an assigned geographic territory.

The key requirements include:
  • Experience with energy companies and commodities trading players is highly desirable as is an existing network of these people/entities.
  • Derivative products knowledge

  • In addition to the above, strong client facing and internal communication, team skills, attention to detail and a business service focus are essential.
