We are looking for a Senior Associate to join us in th e Market Operations Division based in Singapore.

About the role

Primary duties of the Interest Rate Derivatives team will be:

  • Day to day operations which include the verification of trade bookings, confirmations drafting and Settlement of transactions in particular Interest Rates Swaps, Caps/Options and Structured Derivatives.
  • Investigation and resolution of IRD positions breaks and cash reconciliations
  • Liaison with traders and clients on queries and issues.
  • Provide support and guidance on the back office requirements for trading to go into structured/ new rates products
  • Good knowledge of ISDA standards is required
  • Knowledge of Markitwire and Calypso is preferable
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory changes in the derivatives space is preferable

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have 1-3 years of local Singapore banking experience and familiarity with day to day operations of a foreign bank branch operating in Singapore
  • Experience with the Derivatives Rates products & relevant local settlement methods and requirements will be preferred
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Have good problem solving skills
  • Confident and competent in oral and written communication in English
  • Proven track record of interacting and working within a team
  • Be highly motivated with a professional attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Be university educated in Banking, Finance or equivalent
