We are seeking to expand our team in our Singapore office and looking to hire a Senior Client Associate in our Investment Management Sector. The Senior Client Associate will work closely with the Managing Directors, Principals and Vice Presidents in the Sector globally. The Senior Client Associate will assist in developing insights to help clients make better business decisions. The Senior Client Associate will also support initiatives to improve Greenwich’s product offerings, drive improvements to business processes and promote the firm externally.

Overview of the Senior Client Associate role: 

As a member of the Investment Management Sector, the Senior Client Associate will create value for our clients by conducting analyses on Greenwich’s proprietary data.  Findings are used to develop recommendations that directly address client needs and challenges.  A successful Senior Client Associate will, over time, transition from analyzing data to delivering presentations to cultivating client relationships.

Day-to-day activities will include data analysis and development of deliverables, managing deliverable production, helping clients with queries they may have and contributing to sector-specific or firm-wide projects. Senior Client Associates will attend select client meetings and will support the delivery of findings and recommendations to clients.  The role will also support proposal writing, handling contracts and related documentation as well as program execution. 

In the initial phase, the Senior Client Associate will be mentored by a Managing Director, Principal or Vice President to develop a solid understanding of the firm’s proprietary research methodology.  In due course the individual will gain increased responsibility for production of deliverables and client interfacing.  The ideal candidate’s capabilities will allow them to assume additional accountabilities for leading a specific research program or other sector-specific initiatives.  Upon mastering these skills and with the oversight of their mentor, Senior Client Associates can progress to Associate Consultants based on performance and can take on added responsibilities for sales, consulting, product management, and strategic and business planning for the firm as a whole.

  • High attention to detail. Consistently performs high quality work with limited mistakes. Able to anticipate needs and acts without needing to be told what to do.
  • A knack for building relationships.  Must be able to interact with and influence people across functions and at various levels of seniority (inside and outside Greenwich).
  • Possesses a 'can do' attitude and serve as a morale builder.  Remains optimistic in the face of obstacles and creates enthusiasm in others.
  • Constantly looking to improve processes and extract efficiencies despite perceived challenges or in the presence of ambiguity.
  • Written and verbal communications are concise, clear, and to the point.
  • An ability to travel.  Client service will involve limited overnight travel.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial services or consulting industries
  • Basic understanding of the investment management industry will be an added benefit
  • Experience with client management and process management will be an added benefit
