As part of a high-performing red team, the individual will be providing leadership and subject matter expertise in building and delivering red team operations, and contribute actively in the bank’s efforts in adopting and maintaining an enterprise-wide view of threat-driven risks.

Senior Red Team/Penetration Test Lead - Senior Position, Banking

My client is a renowned bank and they are expanding and growing aggressively in the region. They are expanding their Technology and Operations set up in Singapore and is aggressively investing in their cybersecurity efforts.

They are currently looking to hire a senior leadership role within their CISO office. As part of a high-performing red team, the individual will be providing leadership and subject matter expertise in building and delivering red team operations, and contribute actively in the bank’s efforts in adopting and maintaining an enterprise-wide view of threat-driven risks.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, plan and execute red team operations and campaigns.
  • Ability to circumvent incident detection processes when conducting red team operations.
  • Support the development of red teaming methods, operations and simulations within and across the enterprise to include cybersecurity, personnel security, operations security, facilities security, and third party vendors/service providers.
  • Provide cybersecurity technical testing services, including network, system or application penetration test and vulnerability assessment through in-depth technical analysis and exploitation of vulnerabilities.
  • Provide regular threat/risk updates, presenting findings and learnings from cyber-attacks, red team operations, and cyber-attack simulations within a context of overall risk to the enterprise.
  • Work closely with existing technology infrastructure, business application and security teams, both to receive input and to provide practical and actionable threat intelligence.

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of experience conducting red team assessments of high risk systems.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field (bachelor’s or master’s degree).
  • Thorough understanding of concepts and principles related to security, social engineering, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, advanced persistent threats, and intelligence analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders interests within the enterprise.
  • Ability to collaborate and share knowledge within a fast-moving environment.
  • Proven track record in a team leading role
