What it's about
In this position, you will be part of the Investment Valuation Services team which is responsible for the investment monitoring and valuation process across our private equity, private debt, private infrastructure and private real estate investments. The role will involve:
  • Management and controlling of the Investment Valuation process with a focus on our Primary and Secondary PE fund investments.
  • Coordination of the monitoring process around our PE fund investments, Direct Private Equity, Private Debt, Private Infrastructure and Private Real Estate investments and portfolios
  • Ongoing monitoring and valuation of assigned assets throughout investment period
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of existing monitoring, valuation and reporting tools and processes
  • Support and lead operational projects spanning across different business units and departments
  • Interaction with various teams within Partners Group (Investment deal teams, Accounting, Technology, Risk Management) as well as with external parties such as auditors, on monitoring and valuation related topics
  • Supporting the execution of the daily valuation process on a rotational basis

What we expect
We are looking for a person who works well in a highly entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong people and organizational skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:
  • University degree, preferably in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Ideally 7+ years work experience in the financial industry (preferably within the area of accounting, auditing, controlling or valuation) and a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication, able to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority
  • A self-directed person, able to manage tasks effectively and complete tasks within demanding timelines
  • Has a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Proficient in MS Office and other databases such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, and others
