The Systems Integration Development Team Lead role provides software development leadership and management of the development effort and resources within the team. The position entails designing and driving the implementation of development best practices, while playing a crucial role in spearheading technical analysis, design, development and system testing around the bank's specific technology streams and its sub-system.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Developers and Technical Leads and act as the Systems Integration SME, responsible for the architecture design, roadmap, and implementation of all change initiatives on the platform.
  • Responsible for management of resources and tasks allocations, assists the Business Workflow and Systems Integration Competency Lead in overall planning and execution of the assigned Book of Work.
  • Manage the development teams for all related systems including onsite/offshore external vendors. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure timely delivery, perform inspections to ensure quality of the relevant documentation, artefact and work packages in accordance to the Bank's SDLC processes.
  • Work with the solution architects / solution managers / project managers to provide consultancy advices, inputs, and effort estimates to projects/CRs.
  • Involved in the Design Committee for promoting sound design and development practices/guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Run-the-Bank organization to provide 3rd level support, engaging them to gather input on operational, non-functional requirements to ensure resilience, scalability and high performance.


Qualifications
  • Financial technology background experience (Wealth Management, Investment Management, Asset Management, Investment Banking preferred) with strong development experience including past software development role as well as previous experience in the integration of vendor solutions.
  • At least 12 years of experience as a development lead, especially with strong understanding of integration aspects of systems and platforms.
  • Minimum 8 years of Java experience (Core + Java EE).
  • Strong knowledge/experience in Spring framework, Java Web service.
  • Good understanding of design principles and best practices in terms of development and integration perspectives.
  • Able to independently handle stakeholder interaction on technical and non-technical issues.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently and manage business expectations accordingly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments, tools and processes.
