Technical Analyst, Windows, Group Operations & Technology
  • Operate, manage and maintain Wintel servers and system
  • Provide technical assistance to Technology Command Centre and other operation teams.
  • Perform preventive measure and monitoring to ensure system is in healthy and stable state.
  • Conduct performance analysis, tuning, capacity planning, performance management and automate system operations
  • Troubleshoot and drive system/service recovery. Escalate problems with actual or potential impact to problem management. Must be proactive and possess a sense of urgency during service recovery.
  • Ensure the supportability of the Windows and system software.
  • Perform vulnerability and patch assessment
  • Plan, track and drive patch management, patching activities & software upgrades to ensure continuous compliance and supportability.
  • Perform Wintel change request and provide timely update on change request ticket
  • Provide support for BAU project, including server build, OS hardening and required agent installation/configuration.
  • Establish adequate monitoring to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.
  • Provide operational excellence and skills on Windows and system software support.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science/IT
  • At least 5 years system support experience on Windows platform.
  • Possess good technical knowledge in implementing, troubleshoot, performance tuning of Wintel hardware, Windows Operating system and system services.
  • Hands-on experience on Microsoft Windows Server, Wintel high availability solution, Storage (NAS, SAN), VMWare and cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation of Windows tasks using script or tools
  • Experience in in-depth troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of technical issues, provide resolution/mitigation steps and generate Incident report.
  • Experience in audit of IT System, ITSM operation and process
  • Data communication, network knowledge & Information security knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Experience in application execution in the Windows environment is an added advantage.
  • Experience in upgrade of Windows Operating System, migration of Infra software is an added advantage
  • Team player and self-motivated and driven
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Banking experience is an added advantage
