Our Client is a leading Healthcare IT company in Singapore. They are looking at hiring Technical Architect (SWAT) to help fuel their growth in Singapore.

Summary

As part of the service delivery improvement initiative, a SWAT team is being formed to uplift the resilience of critical healthcare IT systems. This team will comprise of two technical leads (architects) and two database leads (DBA). Their task is to review, automate, and improve existing procedures required for resilience, such as housekeeping, error detection, failure detection, recovery steps, shakedown testing steps and performance tuning. The SWAT team members will work with the existing application support and infrastructure teams to understand the pain points and gaps. The SWAT team will also be called on during outages, to assist with troubleshooting and workarounds. We are looking for people who want to grow in DevOps, and enjoy troubleshooting and making things work again.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Technical Lead (Architect) will be expected to do the following:

  • Work with the application and infrastructure teams to identify gaps and pain points
  • Develop the overall approach for solving these problems, and work with the teams to agree on priorities, work scope and schedule
  • Develop and test the scripts to automate housekeeping, error detection, shakedown testing, and performance tuning
  • Teach the existing application and infrastructure teams how they should use, maintain and manage these scripts
  • Assist the team with troubleshooting and performance tuning when called upon
  • Put together an overall framework of reusable scripts, assessments and troubleshooting

Skills and Experience

The Technical Lead (Architect) must have the following skills and experience
  • Experience supporting high volume OLTP systems
  • Extensive scripting for systems level tasks
  • Performance troubleshooting and tuning of application
  • Performance troubleshooting and tuning of middleware
  • Performance troubleshooting and tuning of infrastructure
  • Certification with .NET or Java systems development is required
