Job Description
Our client, a prestigious Multinational investment bank is looking for a Trade Associate to carry out the transactions processing and customer interface and service for their Management Team.
(6 Months contract - Highly extendable and convertible) Job Description Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a Multinational investment bank and financial services holding company to assist the management team for recording new trade deals and drawdown of loans.
The incumbent will be performing day-to-day functions involving transactions processing and customer interface & service.
Key Responsibilities - Support the order processing, settlement, transfer, and maintenance tasks.
- Provide accurate and quality work to minimize reversal rate and complaint cases.
- Handle exceptions and problem cases under advice and supervision of manager.
- Report irregularities and issues to supervisor promptly and accurately.
- Arrange payment settlement with client and counterparties.
- Provide quality services to internal and external clients in accordance with all group standards.
- Follow up independently with queries raised, escalating to line manager where appropriate.
- Back up other colleagues of the team in accordance with back up arrangements as advised by managers.
- Proactively seek out opportunities to assist other team members.
- Proactively learn other tasks in order to become familiar with the full operations flow.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal control documents and external regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Service Level Agreement on various tasks.
- Assist in Imports like data input of new trade deals , drawdown of loan, loan repayment, scanning, filing and faxing.
- Assist the team in any adhoc duties as and when assigned.
- Performs day-to-day operations. Maintains optimal use of resources and achieves customers' satisfaction while minimising the occurrence of operational risks.
- Transactions processing for Supply chain products in account maintenance, supplier set-up, drawdown, repayment and exceptional case handling.
- Handles FI transaction in drawdown including DC reimbursement, selldowns, periodic resets and repayment.
- Customer Interface & Service by providing technical trade advice & solutions to these customers in an accurate, comprehensive and timely manner.
- Providing & delivering a consistently high quality of customer service.
The Successful Applicant As a successful applicant, you would have the following skills & qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma or Undergraduates or Graduates who can perform reports and backup for other desk and multi-tasking
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- A strong team player who is organised, analytical and meticulous, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills as there is a high level of customer contact required.
