We are looking to appoint a new or recent graduate (with less than 1 year of working experience) for our Internal Audit team in Singapore offering an initial one year traineeship program.

Your environment

General Inspection and Internal Audit teams are part of the Inspection and Audit division (IGAD) of SG Group.

Junior Internal Auditors' main task is to assist the Auditors in Charge in assessing the compliance of transactions, actual risk exposure, respect of procedures as well as the relevancy and efficiency of permanent control.

Junior Internal Auditors participate to audit assignments covering risks areas as per the multi-year audit plan. They apply audit processes and methodologies, and use the tools supporting the audit cycle (Risk Assessment, Time tracking, Work Papers, Recommendation follow-up). They also assist the Head of Audit on specific assignments.



Execute controls in accordance with professional standards.
Assist audit management in preparation & execution of the audit plan.
Help prepare Audit work program and understand the specific risks to be evaluated.
Perform evaluation of internal controls, testing of processes.
Perform reviews of major financial and operational processes.
Perform detailed testing for information system integrity and transaction accuracy.
Perform tests on the effectiveness of the internal control environment within SG.
Maintain clear work papers and audit trail of the work done in the appropriate tool.
Participate to the redaction of formal & clear reports to communicate audit results to management.
Propose appropriate recommendations to improve SG processes.
Help on the timely issuance of the audit reports.
Follow up recommendations issued timely.
Acquire knowledge on activities and risks during assignments



Top tier University, major in Finance/Banking/Business Computing.
Precedent experience in Internal Audit would be a plus.
Good analytical and writing skills.
Rigor, transparency, honesty.
Discipline, ability to commit and stick to deadlines.
Communication skills, ability to interact with a wide range of staff (all staff levels & management).
