As Treasury Director you will lead a small team in managing our Treasury function within the Singapore headquarters, supporting our corporate treasury function as well as supporting overseas business units on a project basis.

Our client is a listed real estate organization which has presence in most global locations and is still expanding their global footprints exponentially.

Description

Managing lines of credit and working relationships with a range of banks, including those in new markets where there is little prior background

Loan management, negotiating and executing loan proposals and intercompany advances or loans

Liquidity management and cash management, including managing our risk and exposure to various currencies

Work with colleagues in Asset Management, Investment and other related functions to structure our development plans

Advising the company on different strategies, such as joint venture partnerships or revenue-sharing arrangements, and the implications from a Finance and Treasury perspective

Profile

A minimum of eight years' experience working in a Treasury department, with recent experience leading the Treasury function within an international company or organisation

A highly pro-active attitude, seeking problems and identifying solutions

Strong interpersonal skills and a proven background of building strong working relationships with banking partners under different circumstances

Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, for occasional liaison with non-English-speaking, HQ-level colleagues and occasional report preparation
